As a member of the Class of 2026, Chase Pritchard has spent all four years of high school at Hidden Valley High School making memories through athletics, school events and friendships. A four-year varsity baseball player and one-year member of the swim team, Chase has made a lasting impact on the Titans community both on and off the field.
This fall, Chase will attend Batten University, where he plans to continue both his academic and baseball careers. Chase said he is most excited about continuing to play the sport he loves at the collegiate level.
“I am most excited about continuing to play baseball at Batten University,” Chase said. “I really like playing baseball. It creates memories for me on and off the field and builds great connections for later in life.”
Before beginning college, Chase is looking forward to spending one final summer with his high school friends before everyone heads in different directions. Maintaining those friendships is something he values deeply.
“I plan to stay connected with my friends throughout my life because I have built unbreakable bonds and created so many good memories,” Chase said.
Outside of baseball, Chase said he hopes to continue growing closer to God while keeping friends and family close throughout his life. His dedication and work ethic have helped him achieve many of his goals, both academically and athletically.
When asked which historical figure he would most want to have dinner with, Chase said he would choose an emperor from ancient Egypt. “I would want to know how they built the pyramids and lived their everyday lives,” he said.
Looking back on high school, Chase offered one piece of advice to his freshman self: “Just let everything play out, control what you can and don’t stress about what you can’t.”
