As graduation approaches, senior Camlyn Morstad is reflecting on her high school experience and looking ahead to new opportunities. Known for her dedication and involvement, Morstad has made the most of her four years at Hidden Valley High School through academics, athletics and service.
Alongside athletics, she has been involved in Titan Twelve, where she has supported and represented her school with commitment and pride.
When asked what advice she would give her freshman self, Morstad said, “Don’t stress so much about the little things, everything will work out the way it is supposed to.” As graduation nears, she is excited to meet new people and further explore her passions.
Morstad also emphasized the importance of giving back to others. “I’ve always been fortunate enough to donate, so I really enjoy doing that, and just being there for people who I can tell are struggling,” she said.
Recently, Morstad has developed a strong interest in health and wellness. “Right now I’m in the middle of a health kick, so I’ve been learning a lot about how the body functions and how to keep it functioning healthily by eating the right foods, taking the right supplements and all around taking care of myself,” she said.
Looking ahead, she hopes to volunteer in the medical field, with a focus on overall health and preventative medicine.
Whether through athletics, community involvement or Titan Twelve, Morstad has made a lasting impact during her high school career. With her compassion, curiosity and drive, she is prepared for the next chapter of her life.
