This year, we will find out the top 5 New Years resolutions that Hidden Valley Students are committing to in the slick 2026!
New Years has been celebrated by countless countries for many centuries! Some of the earliest celebrations of the new year are credited to the Babylonians, with their spring festival, (Akitu), to symbolize renewal. Sometimes even celebrating Janus, the god of new beginnings. Now, in this modern day and age, people celebrate in multiple ways, but the most long-lasting way, is by setting New Years Resolutions!
Lauren Goodwin (Twelfth) said, “I have a couple of new year’s resolutions, like going to bed earlier and working out. I think some popular new year’s resolutions this year will be to work out more, eat better, go to bed earlier, maybe cleaning more.”
Aryan Madan (Eleventh) said, “I think my biggest new year’s resolution is to go to the gym consistently and to eat better with my diet. The most popular resolutions this year will probably involve trying to study consistently, or going to the gym consistently, or going to the gym consistently. My family normally get together with family to celebrate new year’s.” Now that we have spoken to students, we can determine the rankings!
