Here at Hidden Valley High School Spring is upon us, which means spring sports are making a rapid approach. Beginning this week, sports such as baseball, soccer, track, and lacrosse are all having their first practices of the 2026 season. One of the larger sports at Hidden Valley is our baseball team, which has previously won region districts, and was the runner up last year. Get excited, Titan’s Baseball fans, as we are looking forward to a great season!
With in-season games starting up next week, our Titans have been preparing. Hunter Mixon (12) is one such example, saying that “with practice going Monday through Friday, we are making sure we are ready for the season.” Glad to see our Titans going at it hard, making sure they are ready to up a fight.
This year there is a lot of competition for the baseball team in our area. Carson Waters (11) stated that, “This year there are a lot of good teams. I think Salem for definitely be our biggest competition, but I think if we work hard enough, we’ll beat them.” With sports, teamwork plays a big role, since no matter how good you are, you need a team to win. Playing together and supporting each other will be what pushes our Titans to beat all the competition.
With games on the horizon, our Titans need to continue their hard work and go into this season with full intensity. From your fellow students in journalism and beyond, we wish you the best of luck, Titans Baseball!
