As Valentine’s Day approaches, and consumable trends rise, Starbucks locations nationwide are scheduled to release multiple new products to their menu throughout the months of January and February. The drop consists of largely anticipated new items like Dubai Chocolate Bites, White Chocolate Strawberry Cream Cold Brew, and Iced Banana Bread Matcha. Starbucks has made this possible through their new “Starting Five” model, and by featuring Khloe Kardashian’s “Kloud Snack Line” to increase audience and popularity.
Sophomore Karina Muller shared that she enjoys the atmosphere, menu variety, and convenience that Starbucks offers. She explained her belief that the new matcha-based beverages may be popular at first but won’t last for an extended time, saying that “while menu switch ups are fun, they don’t compare to the originals.”
This new menu has large potential intrigue a wide range of customers, from students to teachers
Mrs. Preston shared that her personal favorite item on the Starbucks menu is strawberry acai refresher. She predicts that the new menu additions will be highly popular. “They will get lots of attention because from the younger generations the items and trendy but will also probably appeal to older customers as well,” she noted. With the launch coming soon, Miss Preston looks most forward to Strawberry Cupid Cream and Hibiscus Tea.
The Starbucks February menu launch is a strategic effort to accumulate a larger audience through following new trends, and celebrity partnerships. It’s anticipated to gain the company more traction for February and the continuing months of winter
