Starting on December 19, Hidden Valley Highschool student and staff will be at home enjoying some much needed relaxation with the first semester coming to a close. Kick those feet up, Titans, and enjoy the next 2 weeks off as we all take in the fact that half the school year is over!
After 18 long weeks, all Titan staff and students are getting excited for a long deserved break. Nate Stevens (11) said, “I’m getting ready for break, after being in school for so long this break is much needed.” A lot of people can agree with this. After being in school for so long, a break can really help someone reset their brain and get ready for the final stretch of school. When asked what his plans were for break, Stevens also stated that he “plan[s] on enjoying [his] time off and getting ready for Christmas.” It’s safe to say everyone is getting excited!
Many people made lasting memories in this first semester. For some, it was their first semester here at Hidden Valley, and for others, it was their last. When asked what his favorite memories were from the first semester, Nolan Woodard (11) said, ” Dressing up with all the guys on spirit week was one of my favorites.” All are excited to see how the second semester goes after this great start to the school year.
Well, Titans, it’s time to unwind and relax before things get moving in the second semester. Spend this time with friends and family, and no matter how you choose to celebrate, enjoy your holiday!
