The Hidden Valley High School baseball team is preparing for the 2026 spring season, having high standards set and a driven mindset.
After months of offseason work and preparation, the Titans are fixated on building team chemistry and improving fundamentals. Returning upperclassmen are expected to lead the way for younger ones, providing stability both in the lineup and on the mound.
A main component the Titans have been working on is consistency. Coaches want the team to be able to execute at the highest level in every game, regardless of if it comes from solid defense or precise hitting at the plate. Developing confidence in narrow games will also be important for the team to continue playing at a top level.
Pitching depth could play significant part in the Titans’ performance. Having several arms capable of throwing high quality innings, Hidden Valley expects to be competitive in close district games. Offensively, the team will depend on great hitting and aggressive base running to put runs on the scoreboard.
The schedule will bring up severe difficulties, including district opponents, but players continue to be confident. “Every game matters,” said Senior Chase Gattsuo. “If we stay dialed in and trust each other, we will be able to make a far run”.
As opening day approaches, anticipation continues to grow around Hidden Valley’s baseball team. With the tough leadership they have, developing talent, and commitment to teamwork, the Titans are prepared and ready to take the field and make a blow during the 2026 baseball season.
