As the Dancing with the Stars season 34 finally draws near, fans are eagerly debating who they believe will win and take home the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. This season is a close race due to the amount of talent, dedication, and hard work these celebrities hold.
Competing in the finale, there are 5 different pro-celebrity pairings. Some of the fan favorites include social media star Alix Earle paired with pro Val Chmerkovskiy and Australian wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin paired with pro Witney Carson.
Other celebrities in the finale include Olympic gymnast Jordan Chilles paired with new pro Ezra Sosa, actress Elaine Hendrix paired with pro Alan Bersten, and reality star Dylan Efron paired with Daniella Karagach.
Many fans are conflicted about who they believe should win the Mirrorball trophy. When asked who she was routing for in the finale, Anuva Giri (12) answered, “I 100% want Robert to win. If Robert doesn’t win, I would love for Elaine to win.”
However, when Zoe Goodwin (12) was asked the same question, she had a contradicting opinion stating, “I hope Alix wins. She seems to always be working the hardest she can and I would be disappointed if anyone other than her won.”
Each couple will learn six dances and compete three of them in the finale. They will first compete a dance that is chosen by one of the three judges. The judge who chooses their dance will then coach them for a day and give them pointers and corrections.
The second dance they will compete in is an instant dance. Each couple will rehearse 4 different types of dances and 2 minutes before their routine they will be given the style and the song. They will use 2 minutes to choose a costume and prepare their routine.
The finale performance for each couple will be a freestyle that encompasses who they are as a person as well as their journey throughout the season. This is typically a longer routine that contains many backup dancers, props, and stunts.
The winner of the Len Goodman Mirrorball trophy will be crowned at the end of the night. Fans are eagerly awaiting to see who wins the most popular season in Dancing with the Stars history.
