During the week of October 13-17, Hidden Valley will be having a spirit week leading to Homecoming. One of the biggest events we will do during that week will be our annual Homecoming Parade, recognizing Hidden Valley sports teams in season. Driving down Brambleton leading to Bogle field, there will be cars with different school teams and rec leagues throwing candy and having a great time, getting everyone excited for Homecoming.
Homecoming is a time of bringing people together and getting excited for the big dance. When asked if she was excited for Homecoming, Mrs. Biggio (English) replied “Yes! I love to see students dressed up at Homecoming.” Mrs. Biggio (English) also said that “seeing the student dress up in themes” was her favorite part of spirit week. Homecoming is a very exciting time for all Titans, including staff and students.
With Homecoming also comes Homecoming court. Homecoming court is built of representatives from each grade, along with a prince and princess, and queen and king for the Senior class. Jack Stevens (11) states “I think Noah and Kenley will win the Homecoming court.” Coming from a nominee, Kenley Brown (11) said “Yes, being on Homecoming court is a very exciting experience that I’m glad I get to have.” Getting nominated is an experience some will carry for the rest of their lives.
Overall, this years Homecoming was a success brining people together and starting new beginnings. To the people who dressed up for the themes throughout the week and to those who participated in the parade, the entire Titan staff thanks you for getting everyone fired up for the 2025 Homecoming. For some this is their last, and some their first. No matter what is was a great one.
