Here’s your preview of Homecoming on October 18, 2025! The event will take place in the HVHS main gym, and special thanks go to Ms. Fisher for organizing this year’s celebration. Homecoming is always a fun social event where students can dress up, show school spirit, and make memories with friends. Below you’ll find details about the theme, times, tickets, and student thoughts.

You’ll need a ticket to attend. Tickets are $12 each and can be purchased online at SchoolCashOnline.com between September 29 and October 14. Guest applications are required for anyone bringing a student from another school. These forms can be found on the school website, in the main office, or by scanning the QR code on SchoolCashOnline.

This year’s theme is “Party Rockin’” — think rock star vibes, bright colors, music, and fashion. Homecoming will be held from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18. To attend, students must have all outstanding detentions completed, class dues paid, and any school items (like library books) returned. Also, students are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes, such as sneakers, to help protect the gym floor.

HVHS student Fiona Ramey shared her excitement about attending this year’s dance. She’s looking forward to getting ready with friends, taking pictures, and going out to dinner before the event. “I like the idea of Party Rockin’, but I’m not following it too closely this time. It’s a very different theme than others we’ve had, or any I’ve heard of,” she said.
