SENIOR BRODY LAYMAN

This year and all throughout high school, senior Brody Layman talks about his experiences as an student-athlete. Brody has played sports since he was younger, such as soccer and football. He continues with this career now. Brody had also become a part of the DECA club. He played travel soccer for 8 years and played for Hidden Valley High school soccer for 4 years. Brody Layman started football his sophomore year as a kicker and is immaculate with football. He loves both, but it is hard for him to pick one for his future. He was enrolled into several soccer teams like ODP, selected to play Portugal, and the Virginia state team. This upcoming year, Brody has gotten several scholarships for football. He got one to Glenville State in WA for his football kicking skills. He chose to pursue his career in football and moved to WA once college started. Brody feels the impact for the upcoming highschoolers should be for everyone to keep their head up and keep going as long as you can. “Stay motivated and get good grades”, Brody Layman (12). At Hidden Valley, Brody will always be remembered as the boy who is committed to a sport and loves his team. Brody also really enjoyed spending his high school years with seniors Josh Kurpe and Chris Cohmer. Brody’s friends are also very committed to sports such as soccer and lacrosse. Brody believes growing up and experiencing new things by trying out for sports can really help you to stay motivated throughout your education at Hidden Valley High school.
