The Eagles’ first score.

On September 23rd, 2022, the Hidden Valley Titans took on the Franklin County Eagles at Bogle Field for Homecoming. The final score was 14-47, with a big loss from the Titans.

Coach Luckett stated, “It shows us what we need to improve on, don’t focus on the loss.”

As the 2022 season started, it has been a rough one on our players. As for the student section, there are not enough people showing school spirit and support for our Titans as they take on opponents. While some of the students may not show support for our Titans, we spoke to some who did.

Jace Shilling (10) stated, “If you never play, you will never be able to win.”

The game started with a score from the eagles, making it 0-7. At halftime the score was 0-40.  The game ended with two final touchdowns from the Titans and one from the Eagles, making the score 14-47.

The game may have ended in a loss from the Titans, but as we continue to progress with the 2022 football season, they are holding their heads high.

Coach Luckett said, “Coaching gives me the opportunity to be that someone for anyone. I remember those coaches for me, and these players deserve someone who cares.”

With more football games still left, be sure to come out and support the Titans.
