Hidden Valley High School seniors recently spent a full day celebrating their upcoming graduation and reflecting on their time as Titans.
To kick off Senior Day, the Class of 2025 visited their former elementary and middle schools, walking the halls where their educational journeys began. From there, they headed to the Salem Red Sox stadium, where they played games, enjoyed food, and spent time with friends. The day concluded with a mock graduation ceremony back at Hidden Valley, giving underclassmen a preview of what’s to come.
Aliese Viar, a senior, said she enjoyed every part of the day, especially the creative displays. “My favorite part of the day was definitely seeing all the decorated caps and watching the senior video,” she said. “I also had a lot of fun at the Red Sox stadium.” Viar added that her high school experience was made memorable by her friends. “My favorite part of high school has been all the fun new experiences with my friends, and I’m super sad to leave them.” She plans to attend Virginia Tech in the fall.
Fellow senior Holly Griffin shared similar sentiments. “My favorite part of Senior Day was mock graduation because it was sort of a preview of what graduation will be like, and that made me super excited for the real one,” she said. Griffin will attend the University of Tennessee in the fall. Reflecting on her time at Hidden Valley, she added, “My favorite part has been making new friends along the way.”
The seniors enjoyed a day full of fun, memories, and celebration. As the school year winds down, they are preparing to take their next steps while cherishing the moments that have defined their time at Hidden Valley. The community wishes them the best of luck as they begin the next chapter of their lives.
