In the United States and Canda unidentified flying objects were shot down in mid-February of 2023.

In the month of February over four flying objects were shot down in the United States and Canda. The first was a spy balloon that was from the Chinese that was found floating above North Carolina on February 5th at around 8:40 am. It was eventually shot down off 6 miles of the coast of South Carolina when the US government ordered it be shot down. Three more objects were shot down over the United States and Canda. When these instances occur U.S officials use vague language as an attempt to be accurate with the data that they have but because of this it results in public speculation.

Ever since they have been shot down not much information has been released since then. When asked on why they haven’t released any new information on this Alan Ortiz stated that “It’s because they don’t want to cause a panic within the people but maybe it can give the people closure and make them feel safe”. There could also be speculation on that a country could’ve been trying something new with ariel travel. When questioned about this Alan stated “It could be but who knows because they haven’t released any new information on this yet.
