Entering the 2023 – 2024 school year at Hidden Valley, Brennan Metz’s (12) Titan Territory Instagram page is growing at a rapid pace. Started in spring of last year, the Titan Territory Instagram page has taken the attention of over seven hundred students here at the high school.

Late December of last year, Ruby Kasmer (12) had the idea of starting the page. According to Brennan Metz, “The reason we started the page was to have a place where students can find information about sports, clubs, events, and even more. “

Nowadays the Titan Territory page tries to post daily about an event, sport, club, or a school rule. This page is bringing attention to the need of school spirit and has already caused a huge uprising in the school’s spirit with these daily posts.

“I think my favorite thing is being able to interact with students in different circles cause I’m able to contact with different sports and people,” said Ruby.

This is a huge part of the page and happens to be Ruby’s favorite thing about it. The Titan territory reaches out to the students and sports programs to make sure their posts are inspired by the students. They also do this to make sure all their posts are factual so the students can trust the page.

Brennan and Ruby both are optimistic for the future of the page. According to Brennan, “The page is going to become a tradition across hidden valley, and we plan on naming successors to take over the page when we graduate.”

The Titan Territory will continue to post daily about the upcoming school events and will always be an important asset to the student body here at Hidden Valley, hopefully becoming a tradition across the whole school.
