Dr. Matthew Neale, Sponsor
Dr. Neale is excited to be the sponsor of Journalism at Hidden Valley High School. During law school at the University of Kentucky, he was the Comments Editor on the Journal of Natural Resources and Environmental Law. Following graduation, he pursued a legal career in Las Vegas, Nevada. However, he never left his passion for writing or his love for the University of Kentucky. During his early career years, he was a part time sports reporter, writing articles previewing and summarizing University of Kentucky football games for CatsPause, part of the Rivals Sports network. After spending a few years as a lawyer in Las Vegas, Dr. Neale returned to the state he grew up in to pursue a career in education. He is now entering his 16th year of teaching in the Roanoke Valley, and enjoys working with students and their writing and coaching soccer.
