This December, people will finally get to see how far the human body can push itself. Funded by venture capitalists, the Enhanced Games will be held in the USA and will feature athletes who are not bound by the rules of PEDs.
The Enhanced Games are being marketed as a better Olympics. From their own website, they describe it as a fairer Olympics, since “44%” of Olympian’s are already on steroids, they see this as an opportunity to level the playing field.
The premise of the event is that every athlete can take whatever PEDs they want. However, due to the health risks of steroids, a team of doctors will monitor all athletes to ensure their safety and that they are ready for the event.
One way it will even the competition is that 60% of Olympic swimmers claim to be asthmatic, so they can use high powered steroid inhalers, even though only 2% of the world population has asthma. Furthermore, only 1% of Olympians are caught using steroids, yet the Olympics own investigators reported they believe at least half or Olympic athletes are on some sort of enhancer.
One of the founders of the Enhanced Games, Dr. Aron D’Souza says that event will force the Olympics to pay their athletes and to create a more fair and equitable playing field at the event.
When conducting a random interview of Hidden Valley marketing students, 60% thought that it was an interesting idea and could work as an event. However, 85% said they did not think it was safe, due to the adverse effects in the human body and because it promotes steroid usage.
