The Watcher series came out on Netflix on October 13^th, 2022. The show is a mystery, horror. The show is set in New Jersey and takes place in modern times.

The show begins witth with Brannock family looking at a beautiful home in New Jersey. The family is made up of Dean Brannock (the father), Nora Brannock (the mother), Ellie Brannock (The daughter) and Carter Brannock (the son). They move in and everything starts out great.

However, things start getting weird for the Brannock family in their new house when they end up with their first letter from an anonymous person called “The Watcher”. At first, the letters aren’t too creepy, just odd. But as time progresses the letters get weirder and more gruesome.

With the FBI and local police not doing anything, they hire a Private Investigator by the name of Theodora Birch. She ends up making lots of connections between past owners of the house and suspicious activity.

Dean feels like he needs to protect his family from the dangers of the house. As things get weirder, Dean gets crazier. He starts accusing neighbors, the FBI, their real estate agent, etc.

The show goes through many twists and turns, but ultimately comes to an unsatisfying ending. However, viewers should not be disappointed, because the ride towards the final episode is filled with suspense and excitement.

Overall, the show is amazing. The ending could have been better. The fact that it’s based on a true story makes it a little more scary, because the real life case of The Watcher is still unsolved. I would give the show 4/5 Shields.
