Since it is the end of the year, the new graduates will be leaving Hidden Valley High School and pursuing their future. One senior Aidrienne Sopko, who goes by Aidri, has been at Hidden Valley for all of her high school career. She moved from Mississippi to Roanoke when she was three and has lived in Roanoke ever since. She has played softball ever since she was twelve. She plays for Hidden Valley High School and a rec league. Aidri loves going hiking, water skiing, and just being active in general! She also plays the guitar as a hobby.

Aidri is very involved in the school. She has participated in Key Club, SCA, and Science Olympiad, and she helped plan prom and homecoming. She is an English honor society council member, a BETA, and a history honor society member. When asked about her time at Hidden Valley, she went on to say that it had gone by quickly due to virtual learning during sophomore year and having freshman year end early; however, Aidri (12) said, “The past four years have been a memorable experience with some of my best friends!”

Some advice she’d give to high schoolers is “To take every opportunity presented and to learn to have balance with school, extracurriculars, and family and friends”(12).

Aidri will be going to Liberty University and majoring in nursing. She will be remembered for her kindness, intelligence, and great sense of humor!
