The biggest controversy of the Halloween season is candy corn. You either love it, or you hate it. So, what do the students and staff of Hidden Valley (HV) have to say about this? Do they love or hate this seasonal treat?

Lorenzo Chiaradia (10) enjoys candy corn, but to an extent, “it’s really good, but if you eat too much it’s awful.” It turns out that this is a common opinion. HV put up a poll on their Instagram so see what students had to say. Out of 54 votes, 29 said that they liked candy corn, and 25 said that they hated it.

Ryleigh Marra (9) has given us a pretty interesting response… “Personally, I would say it’s good, but sometimes it’s bad. I don’t really know.” Understandable Ryleigh. Now this sugary treat may not be loved by all, but what if it came in different flavors? Well Ryleigh says that though she’s not the biggest fan of the original flavor, she loves chocolate candy corn. As for Lorenzo, the chocolate candy corn does not sound that tasty, “that’s a thing? I will not be eating that.”

Even though candy corn isn’t loved by all, it is a sure reminder of the fall and Halloween season that so many love!
