It has been reported that a new disease has plagued the halls of Hidden Valley. This new, mysterious disease has only the seniors “itching to get out of here.” Though not confirmed, it is reported that this disease is called “senioritis,” and has been sweeping all of America’s seniors.

From a trusted medical source, it has been rumored that all though it is viral, it is not contagious. The source also stated that “the symptoms of senioritis are shocking… it can make a senior lose all their motivation to finish the school year, extreme difficulty waking up in the morning, restlessness, a tendency to skip class, and a sudden need to rebel.”

Parents and teachers are trying their hardest to reign in this disease, but it seems as if it’s too late. The only way to cure the disease, as reported by a trusted medical source, is graduation. Researchers say that this is the only known cure they have discovered, but they are working hard to find a more available cure.

To the people who aren’t affected by senioritis, researchers say to stay far away from the people who are. You can develop the disease if you stay around someone affected for too long, and as told by a source “developing senioritis before you are a senior is very dangerous… not being able to cure the disease by the end of the school year like the seniors can, can lead to permanent damage and an itch to leave everything you do.”

Luckily, it seems as if the disease won’t linger around for much longer, as graduation is right around the corner. But for the unaffected, remember to stay far away!
