With the end of the academic year nearing, many student-athletes received their chance to play on the collegiate level on Spring Signing Day.

Two basketball players signed on to their respective programs. Drew Freeland (12), signed on to play for the Lafayette Leopards, a Division I program in Pennsylvania.

Thomas Engl (12) played point guard this past year for the Titans. He will be attending Belmont Abbey College in North Carolina this fall.

Our tennis team has been phenomenal for years. James Baron (12) will be carrying on the Titan winning tradition at Christopher Newport University next year.

Matthew Whitely (12) will be hitting home runs at Washington and Lee, where he has signed to play baseball.

Brad Williams (12) has been a force to be reckoned with on the golf scene in his time at Hidden Valley, so he has rightfully earned the opportunity to play at the Division I program of Radford University.

It’s a pain to see all of these seniors go, but it’s good to know that they will be representing Hidden Valley on a collegiate level next year.
