“A Simple Favor” Is an interesting thriller about a single, vlogging mother, who’s mourning her late husband and searching for her close friend, Emily, who has mysteriously disappeared. There are many twists and turns in this now extremely popular movie that has been a big box office draw.

The actors do a wonderful job of portraying their characters. Anna Kendrick as the seemingly innocent Stephanie and Blake Lively acting as the mysterious Emily.

Paul Feig added strings of dark humor throughout the movie to keep it fresh and not all sad and gloomy. As a thriller, many have said that it was lacking because of the predictable plot; however, the hot and steamy romance between the characters keep the audience engaged.

As for who would watch this? Well, Hidden Valley students that are looking for a popcorn flick that will mindlessly entertain with dark humor and an easy to follow, entertaining plot.
